The ergonomic backrest really adds to the experience. It can recline from 90 to 110 degrees by simply applying back pressure. It seems like it is operated by a spring mechanism, so when you release any pressure, it comes back to its resting position of 90 degrees. Overall I find this flexibility great for getting a nice back stretch, especially when there is a lot of built up tension in the lower back, lumbar region.

Also the level of back pressure one needs to apply can be adjusted with a back pressure adjuster knob that is located under the chair. In addition, the reclined position of the backrest can be locked into place by pressing down on a lever that is under the chair. The headrest is also fairly ergonomic and helps relieve stress on the neck. It’s a plus that it can be adjusted both in height and tilt (forward/backward).

I also love the armrests, especially because they can flip up! This is absolutely great because sometimes they can get in the way of certain activities, like playing the guitar. The cushion used on the armrests are also padded well and feel comfortable. The out layer seems to be made out of a PU Leather like fabric, it has a very smooth texture.

Speaking of fabric, I love the breathable mesh used for the seat and backrest. It is very flexible and feels comfortable on my bottom and back. It allows plenty of airflow which greatly minimizes the accumulation of body sweat. Also this mesh fabric makes it really convenient for cleaning. No need to worry about cleaning a dirt and sweat filled cushion. This chair will be very easy to wipe down!

Compared to other computer chairs I have used in the past, I think this chair offers the greatest amount of height adjustment. Just to give you some reference, my height is 5ft 6 inches, and at max height, my heels don’t touch the floor! So I believe this chair will certainly be great for those who are tall.

As far as installation goes, it was fairly simple to assemble this chair. The instructions provided are heavily visual based, making it very easy to understand. I did have some trouble screwing the backrest to the seat. I managed to assemble it myself but it would have been much easier with another person’s help.

Overall I love the quality and design of this  Executive Office Chair by Payhere. It looks and feels like a chair that should be valued at $200 or more. I can confidently say that you will be getting your money’s worth with this office chair!
